As a wine and travel influencer, I’m constantly on the go—hopping from vineyard visits to content shoots to cozy hotel stays across wine country (and beyond). After years of packing, unpacking, and repacking, I’ve got my travel essentials down to a science.

But here’s the thing: just because I’ve streamlined my travel kit doesn’t mean I’ve sacrificed comfort. In fact, I’ve learned that a few well-chosen luxuries can make all the difference. Yes, I’m that girl who always packs a travel steamer—because wrinkled outfits and content days don’t mix. From tech gear to tiny indulgences, these are the travel essentials I never leave home without.

Whether you’re planning a wine country weekend or jetting off on your own adventure, consider this your packing cheat sheet.

Jack & Rose Travel Steamer

Dual-Voltage Travel Steamer

My holy grail travel item? The Jack & Rose Travel Steamer. She’s compact, quick to heat, and—bonus—dual-voltage for international adventures. Wrinkled outfits don’t stand a chance. I never travel without her.

KraftGeek Magnetic Selfie Stick and Tripod

iPhone Travel Tripod

I use two different iPhone tripods — both are portable and compact, but serve different functions for me.

The MOFT Selfie Tripod is great because I can easily have it always with me; it sticks directly to your iPhone’s MagSafe and folds down like oragami to look like a little wallet on the back of your phone. It’s so compact, but opens up to an 8 inch height, making it perfect for table selfies and hand shots.

The KraftGeek Magnetic Tripod, on the other hand, opens up much taller, for full-body selfies and group photos.

It’s lightweight, super compact, and ridiculously easy to use. The magnet is strong (like, your-phone’s-not-going-anywhere strong), and it rotates and adjusts so I can shoot from any angle. Plus, the built-in Bluetooth remote means no more awkward selfies. Just set it up, click, and capture the moment.

Wine Suitcase Essential Item

Wine Suitcase

If you’ve ever tried to bring wine home in your suitcase (and held your breath the whole flight), this one’s for you.

The VinGardeValise is the wine travel suitcase—it’s built to carry up to 12 bottles safely, with padded inserts that keep everything snug and secure. I’ve taken it on countless wine country trips, and it’s never let me down. Bonus: you can pull out a few of the inserts and pack clothes instead, making it super versatile. Basically, it’s my wine travel BFF.

Wine Travel Protector

Wine Bottle Travel Protectors

If you’re not ready to invest in an entirely new suitcase, these wine bottle travel protectors are easy to toss into your suitcase and are super effective at protecting your precious bottles. Plus, they’re cost-effective! A travel essential no brainer!

Noise Canceling Headphones

Noise-Cancelling Headphones

These Noise-Cancelling Headphones have completely changed the way I fly. For overnight flights, I toss these on with a pair of earplugs underneath, turn on my playlist of sleep sounds, and happily drift off for the duration of the flight.

airplane foot hammock

Airplane Foot Hammock

Speaking of flights, I have short legs and often wish I had a footrest on flights. Ta-dah! Turns out they exist. I’ve been flying with this airplane foot hammock for years (like maybe even a decade) and it’s a complete game-changer in my experience. One of my go-to travel essentials every time.

Cabeau Travel Neck PIllow

Cabeau Travel Neck Pillow

I have tried soooo many travel neck pillows, but this one is a complete game-changer. It really holds and supports your neck in a way nothing else does. 10/10 highly recommend.

iphone selfie light

iPhone Selife Light

This little clip-on selfie light has been a total game-changer for me—especially when I’m trying to snap content in dimly lit restaurants or cozy wine bars while traveling.

It clips right onto my iPhone, has adjustable brightness and color temps, and makes every photo look polished, even in the darkest corners. I love that it’s rechargeable and compact enough to toss in my purse—perfect for dinners, tastings, and spontaneous content moments.

portable travel bank

Portable Power Bank

I never travel without this ultra-slim power bank. It’s tiny (actually fits in my pocket), but packs a serious punch with 10,000mAh of charge. The built-in cables and foldable wall plug mean no more digging around for cords or adapters—just plug it in and go. It’s saved me on long travel days more times than I can count, and the pink color? Chef’s kiss.

Universal Travel Adapter

A universal travel adapter is one of those boring-but-essential items I always pack. It works in over 150 countries and lets me charge everything—from my phone to my steamer—without carrying a tangle of converters. It’s compact, reliable, and saves me from that “why won’t this plug fit?!” panic abroad.

Hanging Travel Makeup Bag

This hanging toiletry bag lives in my suitcase at this point—I just keep my makeup in it full-time because I’m always on the go. It has a ton of space, keeps everything upright and organized, and the built-in hook makes it super easy to hang in tiny hotel bathrooms. The TSA-approved clear pouch is also clutch for speeding through security. Honestly, it just makes travel smoother.

travel bottles

I like my things pretty, and I prefer glass over plastic. I’m obsessed with these aesthetic green glass travel bottles. I use them for my shampoo, conditioner, face wash, and hair gel. At 2oz each, they’re perfect for even my longest trips!

carry on travel backpack

This backpack seriously fits everything. It went viral on TikTok for a reason—I’m obsessed. The pockets are perfectly designed, the separate shoe and wet compartments are super smart, and it even slides over your suitcase handle. I have both the large and extra-large versions and switch between them depending on how long I’m gone. It’s my go-to for carry-on travel and weekend wine country escapes alike.

travel hat

The Perfect Travel Hat

This is my ride-or-die travel hat. It gives major sun protection without sacrificing style, and the best part? It rolls up and fits right into my suitcase or tote. I wear it everywhere—from wine tastings to beach days—and the chin strap means it actually stays on when it’s windy. Chic and practical.

Happy Travels!

Traveling all the time means I’ve learned what’s worth packing—and what just takes up space. These travel essentials aren’t just convenient; they make my life easier, smoother, and a little more luxurious on the go. Whether I’m off to a vineyard in Argentina or heading to a quick weekend getaway, these are the items I always reach for. Hope they help you travel smarter (and more stylishly), too!
